WTF am I doing?

I was 43 when I first opened a DAW and started creating my brand of future grunge - electro - dirt pop! Mostly self taught, I decided to give it a real go and enrolled in Ultimo Music at TAFE NSW. I am now on my way to completing a Diploma in Creation & Composition with an electro focus! TAFE has been the best decision of my life. It has given me the confidence and skills to keep going, and to see what adventures await!

I am not under any allusions of becoming a pop star, I am writing music for myself, as expression, as a purging of thoughts and feelings; I am compelled to do so, it is my way of being a part of creation, entering into that universal flow state where creation/god/the universe uses you as a vessel to tap into energy, memory, experience in order to move people - I get it, I understand you.

I have popped up some of my assignments from TAFE under the ‘Music Assignments’ Tab for those interested in what we are studying. I will eventually be releasing original works on Soundcloud and YouTube. I also hope to perform before the year is out. (nerves omg).

I will be writing more about my adventures and reflections on life and music here. I promise you, this won’t be boring!
